Follow this Bald Eagle “Spirit” oil
pastel to a finished painting.
"Spirit" is finished with all of our ducks in a row - a bird joke. His picture has been professionally taken and here is framed image. The original is available.
"Spirit loves his name and so do his admirers.
Here is his final image ready to be
printed. Several orders for prints already received.
Since our last visit, I joined Fine
Art America to provide an easy source of selective print sizes, 100% rag paper or canvas. Current requests were to print on Picture Rag Pager with mat and frame.
I also enjoy the results of the oil pastel painting printed on glossy or mat canvas.
The glossy canvas gives the feeling of a varnished oil painting. Most all of my
art look good -"Great"- on canvas. The nice thing about this process you chose you preference.
Fine
Art America allows you to receive “wholesale pricing” because the prints are
not in galleries. To view sizes and prices, please visit FAA’s website

Thanks again for following this venture from start to finish. If
you are late to the process, it began in July. Check on the right side bar
and select the bottom July "Follow this Bald Eagle Oil Pastel to a finished
painting." This starts you out at the ugly stage. Hope you are
amazed how he developed from stage 1 to arrive at today's finish line.
On Tuesday, he will be given as a birthday gift to a dyed in the
wool Texan. This is his year as he represents the Spirit and Pride to be an
American. He will serve you well to be shared. Enjoy!
My next project will be a watercolor.
The plan is to post the painting in progressive stages. This will allow you to
see my work process through a watercolor painting. You can follow the thought process and how
many changes I can make in a watercolor during the course to a finished
painting. Maybe I will be ready in about a week to get started with the postings. It is important for me to set deadlines with you to keep me on schedule because I have so many irons in
the fire at one time having nothing to do with painting.
Have a fantastic week.
Mary Dove
