Good evening all. Needless to say it has
been a very bush month - where did the time fly? This month was a bit off point – good month, just not
as much painting time accomplished to make me happy. Yes, still working on the watercolor. It keeps changing on me. We are having daily conversation as to which idea will take the lead. My original intent or the voice of the painting. The painting stages will still be posted.

My Turkey watercolor, “Country Strutter”
was just entered into the Fine Art Studio Online BoldBrush monthly competition.
The challenge for this painting was the
entire painting. First, working with the feathers – big job; then the
background – liked the final effect; love the way the grasses in the foreground
worked out and then you have the interesting plant material on the left side
growing in front of the turkey. In the beginning, did not knowing how I was going
to execute the painting, Pleased with the final painting. It is exciting to have the opportunity to share my experience with you. Enjoy.
Mr. Turkey is not posted on my website yet. Will come back and enter the links when the image is posted on the website.
In the mean time have a wonderful colorful fall season.
