Good evening ALL. It's my pleasure to share with you two of my
Dear Friends. Barb Young the poet, from high school you have gotten to know over
these past years. To night, this is an introduction to Beverly Copen, Sedona
world traveler and Fine Art Photographer.
Barb's new poem is titled Sunrise. With this subject, I
engaged Bev Copen to see if she had any sunrise photographs; which she did and
graciously shared with us.
Yellow Mountain Sunrise
Bev Copen as a world traveler, selected an experience in China; a sunrise at Yellow Mountain. Please enjoy the creative expression of both
these ladies.
Sunrise
by barb
wiatrak- young
Across
the eastern sky I saw the sun
Its
molten flames of red,
Like
embers from a blacksmith's forge
Its
crimson banner spread.
It rose
in anbered glory..
Till
the sky was one great hue,
Like a
curtain to pull back
For
peeping shades of blue.
The
earth was bathed in ethereal grace
As the
sun its beauty shed...
Painting
with it artistry
All in
glorious red.
I have
never seen a sunrise
That
didn't warm our hearts,
With
that paintbrush of creation
Wherewith,
God His love imparts.
