A Season for Rejoicing, Family, Friends and Sharing!
|
We
say a prayer for ALL California Families affected by the December
fires. The year their family Christmas experience was lost yet will be
long remembered.
My
Christmas logo is a watercolor, interesting enough. of a Montecito
California estate. A quiet patio overlooking the beautiful Santa Barbara
landscape. I've not heard if this home escaped the current fire as it
raged through this terrain.

As
we arrive at years end we ask where did the time go? It seemed to be
such a short year. At this Christmas time with family and friends take a
moment, a quiet moment, to reflect on the wisdom gained from your
experiences over these 12 months. Acknowledge the blessings received
with ease and grace. We're grateful for this day to recognize the
opportunities given us to become a more tolerant human being. Think
about it, 2017 was an interesting, different, very good year.
2018
will bring a new bucket of potentials totally different from 2017. Be
ready to move into an exciting era of the unknown. Fasten your seatbelt,
enjoy and ALLOW the ride. We'll meet here a year from now and compare notes.
Wishing all a Merry Christmas and a fantastic New Year.

This
is my 3rd juried entry painted as a companion to the above "New Mexico
White Sands" painting. A new painting just finished to enter this show.
A short piece of advice to artists entering juried shows. If you are a successful juried artist enter only one paint in a juried show. For each painting your enter above ONE you are now in competition with yourself. In this case, the juror selected one of my 3 entries."Sedona Dry Beaver Creek Sycamore" |
Thank you for joining me on my periodic art journey in my search for excellence.
Wishing
ALL a wonderful Holiday Day experience on Christmas with family and
good friends and a blessed New Years Eve and Day creating for yourself a
2018 fill with potentials and possibilities.
