A poem to share from my Pasadena TX high school classmate. It feels good and appropriate
for the beginning of summer. Enjoy!
Dappling
Shadows
by barb
wiatrak young
Dappling
shadows dance the trail,
In the
woodlands magic deep...
Rocky
roads are winding round
To
mountains stern and steep...
The
endless song of leafy bower,
Touched
by the perfumed breeze..
Echo
soft in mystic vale
Where
uncounted blossoms tease..
The
brooklet goes its merry way
So crystal
clear and cold...
Bubbling
over rock and fern.
A story
ageless, old..
The
conversations of the larks
Falls
in cadence clear
A
pristine fairyland of peace
Is this
enchanted sphere...
Only
sounds of nature
Hold
the spell of forest green
Where
spruce, and pine and aspen gold
Paint
this lovely scene..
From
the master artist..
All
that’s painted here
Shows
the handiwork of God
So
verdantly and clear.....
Enjoy
your Summer!

Bye for now.
