4 – Cottonwood AZ Afternoon Monsoon
Sold

Sedona Library Fund Raiser

By the title of this 8 x 10 oil painting, the inspiration was during our monsoon season. During this time we have beautiful skies, sunlight and moods. This was a fun painting. Best of all it sold for a good cause.

FASO BoldBrush Competition
Just posted Santa Fe Cása in FASO Bold Brush Competition. This is a monthly artist’s competition usually drawing over 800 artists. My intent for this watercolor was to document the New Mexico architectural history. As the artist, I can keep the story behind old wooded gates yet remove the signs of modern technology. For me, this paint captured the portrait of this Santa Fe Cása in watercolor. Enjoy. Mary Dove Art

BoldBrush Competition
Fine Art Studio Online
My guy “Charging Elephant” was entered into the December Competition an was selected as one of the jury’s favorite 15% of 860 entries. So, this pencil drawing was 1 of 129 selected. He’s a happy boy. Enjoy

Happy New Year!

Christmas brought my daughter and granddaughter from California to Sedona. Here they enjoy taking pictures of the Red Rocks; a view of Cathedral Rock not seen from the classic points on Oak Creek.

The girls enjoying the beauty of Sedona.

A fun day had by all.
Have a fantastic New 2012!
