BoldBrush Entry Time

Update: April was a busy show month with the Arizona Artist Guild Exhibition at the Scottsdale Bezalel Gallery; AAG also had a two week show at the Arizona Artist Alliance Gallery in Scottsdale. Sedona Area Guild of Artists (SAGA) had a two week Exhibition in connection with the kick-off fund raiser for the proposed Sedona Art Museum known as SAM.

The last show for the spring season will be the Northern Arizona Watercolor Society Spring Show which starts May 9th – two watercolors were juried into this show. Also, currently have two watercolors in the NAWS Sedona City Hall Exhibition.

One watercolor was juried into the Arizona Watercolor Association (AWA) April Spring Show. June 5th  - pick up work, currently showing in the AAG two woman show, to close at the Beatitudes in Glendale  AZ.

So if I say, I've been thinking about paint this month, you will understand, “I've not painted during the month of April.” This has to change in order to have new work for the Fall Season starting in September.

NOW back to this Blog – posted today: Sunset on the Texas Plains

Having gone to college on the West Texas Plains, being able to see forever is an empowering experience. Sunset on a cloudy day is as close one can get to a religious experience. I enjoyed the challenge the sky presented. The intent was to create the feel of the Big Texas Sky over a very flat landscape.

Thanks for joining me on a windy day in Sedona. The wind today reminded me of the days walking across campus at Texas Tech; the wind seems to never stop blowing across the Texas Plains.
