Arizona Watercolor Association Fall Saturday Pickup Time
Missed
and email therefore another surprise when we went to Mesa to pickup the
artwork. Yes, Santa Fe Cása won an award. Surprises are fun especially when you
receive an award for an artist you respect his work.
The juror, Lian Quan Zhen came to the United States in 1985
from China and earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California at
Berkeley in 1992, followed by a master of Architecture from MIT in 1996.
Zhen has published three books with North Light and his
fourth, on Chinese watercolor painting techniques, was released this fall. You
